Ching-Yen Chung is currently a postdoctoral scholar in SMERC (Smart Grid research Center) at Mechanical Engineering department at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Serving as reviewers in Technical Program Committee for major conferences, including IEEE IGESC 2014, IEEE SPICES 2015, ICACCI 2015, ICCME 2015, and AR4MET 2015, his research interest covers smart grid infrastructure, communication architecture, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) applications, embedded system, and manufacturing. He received the best paper bronze award in IEEE RFID TA conference in 2013 and the university fellowship from UCLA graduate division in 2009 and 2012. As a senior engineer, an internal lecturer, and a team leader in LITE-ON IT Corp, he represented his company in the 3rd Blu-ray Association (BDA) meeting. Dr. Chung received his PhD from UCLA in 2014 and MS/BS from National Taiwan University (NTU).
